Welcome to our Parish

A very warm welcome to the web site of The Parish of Egham, incorporating the Catholic churches of Our Lady of the Assumption, Englefield Green (EG) and St John of Rochester, Egham Hythe (EH).

Our Parish Priest is Father Hugh Flower and his contact details can be found here.

DIVINE RENOVATION SESSIONS

The schedule for the Lenten Book discussion sessions has been changed based on the demand from those people who expressed interest/signed up.  There will now be three sessions per week, one on Saturday early afternoon (12:30 to 14:00) and the two Tuesday sessions (12:30 – 14:00 and 19:30 to 21:00).

    • The normal mass times are listed at the top of the right hand column on the landing page of the we site.
      9.15am St John’s Egham Hythe
      11am The Assumption, Englefield Green

      Regards
      John

  2. Why is the Church of the Assumption not been painted its looking very scruffy spoils the church

    • Hi Linda,
As I understand it, when the Church of the Assumption was last painted, the materials used were not what they should have been. Deacon Aidan would be able to give you a more complete answer, but we are left with the situation that repairing the current state of the church requires a significant amount of money.
We are currently having a parish-wide consultation on our two churches and how we use them to best serve the parish in the future. Until that consultation has finished, I don’t believe we will be undertaking repairs to either church.
      Regards,
      John

  3. What time are masses on Saturday and Sunday please?
